Chookalicious proudly presents... The Great Scallop Eat-off
Saturday 25th October | 11AM At Chook HQ
This isn’t just about spuds — it’s about glory.
This Spring, we’re calling on eight x hungry legends to face off in the ultimate all-you-can-eat potato scallop showdown.
One will walk away as The Scallop King or Queen — with the trophy to prove it (and eternal bragging rights to rub in your mates' faces forever).
Live music. Loud crowd. One cheeky emcee.
One winner.
Zero regrets.
Think you’ve got the guts?

It’s simple:
Fill in the form. Get creative. Stand out.
We want to know why you’ve got what it takes to dominate the scallop stage — so bring the banter, the passion, and maybe even a potato pun or two.
Entries close on the 30th September, 2025… so don’t sleep on it.
This could be your moment in deep-fried history.

WHEN WIL WE PICK THE CONTESTANTS?
Participants will be announced by September 30th, 2025

8 CONTESTANTS. 3 ROUNDS. 1 CROWN.
ROUND ONE:
Each contestant must eat 8 scallops as fast as they can.
You’ll have 3 minutes max.
The 4 fastest to finish (or the 4 who eat the most if no one finishes) go through to Round Two.
ROUND TWO:
It’s scallops all over again — 8 more, 3 minutes.
Only the 2 fastest make it through to the Final Round.
Again, if no one finishes, the top 2 based on the number of scallops eaten will advance.
FINAL ROUND – THE SHOWDOWN:
8 scallops. 3 minutes.
First to finish or whoever eats the most in 3 minutes takes the title.
The winner will be crowned Scallop King or Queen and awarded the trophy (plus eternal local fame).
DISQUALIFICATIONS
Vomiting = automatic DQ. Sorry, folks — spew and you’re through.
Tampering, hiding, or throwing food also results in disqualification.
OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF
Each contestant gets 1 bottle of water per round.
Judges will mediate every round, and their decision is final.
If no one finishes their 8 scallops in a round, the contestant who eats the most, the fastest goes through.
